PVBA Board Members

The Putnam Valley Baseball Association is a volunteer organization, comprised of 10 members, established to govern and manage the Baseball and Softball programs of the Putnam Valley. The P.V. Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with PVBA Commissioner and PVPR Crew Chief Ray Gallagher, under the direction of Parks and Recreation and the Putnam Valley Parks and Recreation Commission, have agreed to put this board in place to settle any and all isuues via majority vote.  The group meets year round to address issues such as registration, evaluations, growth, field management, equipment, uniforms, sponsors and rules.  Within the PVBA, the Coaches Association handles fundraising events for extra items not necessarily covered in the town budget.

The PVBA has been in existence since 2004 and has overseen the growth of the league from 80 to over 600 children. Volunteerism has grown to over 100 individuals assisting with the betterment of the baseball and softball leagues in Putnam Valley.  Each year, we’ve grown in leaps and bounds, and we suspect that those numbers will rise rapidly with the addition of four Senior League teams in baseball (ages 13-15) in addition to the eight girl’s softball teams that took the field in the spring of 2008 for the first time.

We are quite proud of these accomplishments and hope OUR BELOVED community understands our pledge to be the best we can be. We welcome new pledges and trust you’ll reach out to us when interested. Seriously, step up and lend a hand. You won't be sorry you did. Thanks in advance, the PVBA.
